Hey Guys, so am thinking I'm going to go ahead with a macbook pro purcahse pretty quickly (so please no debate about whether to wait a year because I can't haha). Anyways I'm wondering if it's worth it to get a refurbished model of the new penryn edition. I'm in canada and I can get a 2.5ghz 15 inch with the 512mb gfx card for $2249, where as a brand new one would be $2599. Apple says that theyre refurbished are guarenteed.. and they have the same basic warranty (i'd definitely be getting applecare regardless of if i bought refurbished or new btw.) So what do you recommend? have you had any bad experiences with refurbished?? Thanks again!

Get the refurbed and upgrade the RAM with your savings. You could even by an iPod Touch with all that extra money!

So put it like this: Refurbed MBP with 4GB RAM and an iPod Touch or new MBP with 2GB and no iPod Touch.

I know which one I would choose.
