Question: is now a bad time to buy a refurbished July 2014 MBP? Or will the 2015 MBP be available in refurbished condition any time soon?

Any thoughts are appreciated

If you're talking about the recently updated 2015 13" rMBP I doubt they'll be available as refurbs for quite some time.

It takes time for people to buy them, then return them under the 14 day return policy, then get sent back to the factory to get fully tested and repackaged..
