Hi,
if i remember correctly the 4 finger swipe function came out AFTER the 1st generation MBA. But when i looked at the refurbished ones on sale now on Apple site, it's unclear if it includes the 4 fingers or not, or just the previous generation the two finger swipe...

Help! THANK YOU

Yep, I bought one of these machines. I'm not sure about 4 finger (whats that supposed to do?) but it has the 3 fingers for forward/back.

Oops, my post is kinda useless, sorry! Would delete if I could.

It's not there by default. You have to hack it in. Works great on them though. Search the fourms or google for four finger gestures and rev a. You should find it quickly. Just make sure to follow the steps exactly. Happy airing.

Yeah I just did the mod about an hour ago. Very easy with no issues.

Odd that this is not in an update. I'ts not like it's a radical hack.

It is supported by the hardware, but the software doesn't support it without a "hack". The hack isn't really much of a hack though as much as it is editing a few files. It is very simple to do and works like a charm. ;)

Thank you all!
I didn't even know what i was asking about.

All I meant was the 3 fingers back and forth....i totally forgot the 4 finger one, what does that do??

I "hacked" my rev. A and now have 4 finger swipe. I love it but it would be nice to be able to customize the functions. I rarely need to hide all the windows as I don't keep things on my desktop.
