refurbished question and dead pixels

I am about to purchase a MBP. I am looking at a refurb right now. My concern is dead or hot pixels. If I buy this machine does apple guarantee the screen under the warranty?

You get the same warranty on a refurb from Apple that you get if you purchase a new MBP from Apple. 1 year warranty, with the option of adding Applecare to extend it to 3 years.
