Regained access but still cancelled

I had my account re-activated after a cancellation of a few months, I do not know how many hours it has been - could be up to 12 as there was never a follow-up email. However I remember from the past that when I reached a new rank threshold the name changed instantly, in this situation I am still showing as Cancelled after regaining access and already making a post. Curious. Unsure if there is a separate rank and the ban is unrelated, causing this mistake.
