Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to get the files created by the ''optimized media'' procedure in FCPX. Is there some kind of folder I can access from the Finder that would show those Apple Pro Res 422 media files?

I would like to import those transcodes directly into a FCP7 project. Is there a way of doing that without having to create a new project for every clip and exporting them one by one from my library?

Thank you so much!

Right click your Library (in the Finder) and choose Show contents...

Then select the folder of your project > Transcoded Media > High Quality Media

They should be there.

That's what I did but it doesn't show that folder. Is it because I'm importing MXF files into FCPX? Why is it not converting the MXF files into Apple Pro Res 422? Thank you so much by the way!
