Just got my MBP, unboxed it and used it for a good couple hours before I threw it on the charger. I realized after that I should have threw it on AC first. Did I necessarily "mess up" my battery life or is it nothing to worry about?
 
Nothing to worry about. Though, it would not kill you to calibrate your battery. Think of it this way, what you did is probably how 80%+ of users use their computer the first time without consequence.
 
Thanks for the reply, you've put me at peace of mind, I just wanted to make sure I was getting the most bang for my buck. I have battery draining in preperation for calibration so I should be good to go. ;)
