I have a general question regarding installing OS X on a computer.

I have my friend's computer here and she wants me to erase everything off the hard drive and install the OS again so it's like she has a 'new' computer. She doesn't have the installation disks in her possession, but I have my OS X disc from my iMac and the flash drive that came with my MBA. Will I be able to use those disks to install OS X? Her laptop is running Leopard, but my disks are all Snow Leopard. I wouldn't think that's a problem since I'm erasing the entire hard drive and installing a whole new OS.. but Just to make sure I wanna know...

No, those discs are machine specific. It would only work if her machine was the same model as yours.
