Regarding the apple logo light mod

I'm looking to get a Macbook or MBP soon. You guys know if the new MBP's still allow for the frame to be taken off? And I was wondering just how easy it is to do an LCD mod for the light cuz that would be badass. Can someone tell me the total cost of the LCD mod and if it's worth the risk? How much time would it take? And are there any good tutorials on this? Also what would be the best way of just getting the old Macintosh logo on it? I'd imagine that would be hard to do using transparency papers.

Those are the transparency paper ones. Scroll downtown see the old Mac logo one. There are mods with LCD screens though where you actually put a screen in the book and it can display any pic you want through the laptop.

I would just buy the sticker decals, no need to worry about taking it apart if you decide to remove it

I didn't want to mess up my AppleCare to do the light mod, so honestly didn't look too far into if it's possible on a unibody. I went the vinyl sticker route, I think it was like $10 of esty for 2 Mac, 2 iPad, and 4 iphone. Throwback apple logo FTW.

Just take your time lining it up, I messed up one on my iphone.
