Region code change on DVD Player

hI

please help ,I have changed the drive region code 5 more times,so now it doesnt plays any dvds, how can i reset it,or what i can do?
please let me know what can be done.

You'll only be able to play DVDs that are the same region as what it's currently set to, but you should be able to play a DVD of any region through VLC Player.

VLC doesn't get around region codes on the new DVD drives. I think it is possible Apple can reset your region code change count.

Really? That's a bummer considering I own a current-gen MacBook Pro and Mac mini. Thanks for the info.
