Region specific movies

Here is a curve ball. I have one DVD series that is region specific formatted for Europe. Would burning this for the iPad be any different or even work? This is a tv series that u can't get in america or iTunes. Just wondered if anyone ever tried this. I only have a few movies I was going to burn that Netflix does not have.

Handbrake can take care of that for you. When you put it in your computer, ignore any warnings telling you to flash the new region to your DVD.
