Hello everybody. I got the new iPhone 3G and followed the classic steps to get it to work. (I already have a 1st-gen iPhone, so everything went smoothly)
Then it was time for me to set it up. I went to Settings > General > International > Region Format. Oh the horror! Instead of the list ("Australia, Belgium, Botswana, ets") all I got was "en_us", "bt_en", fr_fr" and things like that!
I went back and tried the Keyboard Settings instead. Guess what! No "English ON/OFF", no "Danish ON/OFF", etc. I got the same text strings as above..
The iPhone was new, unused, and got updated when I connected it to iTunes.
I thought it might be a problem with the update, so I restored it again. I get the same thing every time. The only way to return it to normal is to turn it off and on two times after a restore. Then magically it gets the correct menus. Anyone else having this issue?
What should I do? This never happened to my 1st-gen before.
