Hi all, I just got my new macbook pro about 3 weeks ago and have just gotten round to looking at some of the application on it.

I have been looking everywhere for the serial number for aperture but do not know were it is or if I acuity get one with it. dos anyone know where to find it??/

Pre-installed apps don't require a serial key since they come on the restore disc, there's no reason for it however you can do to the menu bar and choose Aperture-about aperture and it might show the serial key. Now unless you just need the serial key for some reason you should give Apple a call and ask how it works for pre-installed apps.

I have gotten my MBP 17" few months ago and if I remembered correct, the Aperture that came preinstalled is a 30 day trial version, I think.

After HH3917's post I neglected to ask the OP if he/she paid extra for Aperture upon buying the MBP? If not then it WILL be a trial as Aperture does not come with the MBP for free.
