iPhone 12 Pro Regretting your choice of colour? Whats your options?

I managed to grab the Pacific Blue for in-store pickup this weekend based on Apple's website renders. I planned to go Graphite but it looked too bright.

However seeing the reviews, the graphite is incredible and pacific blue is not as muted as the renders show. I might keep my order and try and try to swap it on collection but not sure how possible that is going to be. Would prefer not to have to get to the back of the line again.

Anyone else in the same boat? What's your plan?
 
Haha! I am in the opposite boat. I ordered graphite and wish I'd gone blue. :)

My option is a case. Any sort of return would be too much of a hassle for me. I'm planning on a brown leather case anyway, so blue wouldn't likely have been a good idea. Silicone has more options, but I've never stuck with them.

I am with the OP here after seeing the videos that the Graphite is the way to go for me. Although there was one video of the Silver and that looked really good as well. After making the mistake with Midnight Green last year, I will be staying away from the newer colors as at least for me got old after the lure of having the new color wore off after the first month. Your best bet is probably just to try to secure one for instore pickup and simply do the return/repurchase at the same time.

Really like the ocean blue, but the finger prints on the sides looked bad on some of the videos.
But will see how it goes in real life :)
 
I was really tempted by the Pacific Blue (after always going with Space Grey) but after getting the Series 6 watch with the new blue band, only to be disappointed that it was a much cheaper, brighter blue than shown on the website, I decided to play it safe this time.

Remember, though, that you'll never properly know until you have it in your hand. I've watched two videos in the past hour that make that blue phone look totally different.

Having seen the videos I still very much prefer the paler blue 12 Pro & opaque 'etched glass' finish to the stronger blue & more plasticky looking 12.

I used to go Space Gray every opportunity, but having had a green 11 Pro Max last year I now like the idea of a different back colour being unique to it's particular period (and there being no front colour anymore anyway) & I'm going to stick with that this time around too.

Graphite or Silver would both be a close second & I nearly blinked yesterday when I saw Launch Day stock for Friday delivery from a non-Apple retailer ...

Hopefully having seen some reviews lots of people will cancel their existing pre-orders, rejoin the back of the queue, and those of us sticking with our original selection will all move up one spot 😎
 
Looking forward to seeing the Pacific Blue I ordered in person. Not regretting it, just a little nervous since all these color looks so different dependent on lighting.

Is the 12 Pro Graphite different from 11 Pro Gray? Wasn't a fan of the gray since it usually looked purple or brown.
 
Ordered black and still happy about it; however, I just realized that you can see part of the colored aluminum bezel from the front.
 
I was regretting getting silver but doesn't look too bad.

No regrets, I ordered the pacfic blue and will keep it. Will be getting the Pro Max in Pacific Blue all the way.
