Can say that I am slightly, that thing is huge.
Although, black in general looks smaller than lighter colors hence going for black.
Going to miss the weight for sure, as I had SS watch and a NOMAD SS bracelet. Lots of weight, great build. loved it.

Yes, I am a bit.

Having had AW 4-9; this Ultra will be a first.

My co-workers have them and it seems to fit them.

I will try it out for 14 days then decide.

Really wanted it for the 5G and satellite messaging as I fly small GA planes.

I moved from S7 to AWU2. I wasn't at all sold on AWU due to the size and to the garish orange button, but after I saw it on a few people in real life I started to like it more and eventually ordered my AWU2 (first run, so natural Titanium) with the olive alpine loop. I was still concerned about it looking "too big," but after a couple days of wearing it I was comfortable with it in any environment. I actually got compliments on it. People would come up to me and say it looked good, something which never happened with the Series watches, even when they were a rare sight or dressed up with a really nice band.

I still get periodic compliments on it, actually. Someone approached me at work just a few weeks ago and told me they really liked how my watch looked on me. It's a little surprising to that it still happens, but not unpleasant. It tells me that it is noticeable for sure, but people seem to like the look.

I have very small wrists. I wear the size 1 solo loop and it's a bit loose. Anyway, I've never been able to wear the larger size Apple watch, it just doesn't sit right on my wrist. However, I was able to wear the Ultra when I tried it, back when the original Ultra came out. I eventually went with the regular Apple watch, but only after seriously considering keeping the Ultra. Whereas the larger size Apple watch, the moment I put it on, it's like nope, that doesn't fit.

It's weird because the Ultra is larger than the larger Apple watch right? But it just fits differently on the wrist for some reason. So I think for most people, the Ultra will work fine.

Got my Ultra 3 today. Absolutely no complaints.
I suspect in a few days time, I'll look at the regular series and wonder how I put up with it being so small 🤣
