Heaven or Hell
Can you drag the photoshop app off your Mac,
onto an external drive, then throw it back onto your
MacBook Pro, without having to re enter the serial number ??

thanks!

Unfortunately, unless something has changed with CS3, Photoshop has its own installer. Dragging it around like that, IMO, is a bad idea. Why don't you just install in on the HD? I believe the license lets you install it on two computers.

All the applications that i had installed using their own installers (mostly games) gave no problem when i moved them to the external. They all work fine, its like all the links are updated and nothing remains broken.

The reason i want to take my apps off my macbook pro, onto a HD,
is to reformat my mac, so it'll run smoother! and do a clean reinstall.
Does anyone know a good way to do this ?

thanks!
