I'm thinking of selling my Rev A MBP bought in 2006. I wanted to erase my hard drive, reinstall OS and software before selling. However, since it was bought in 2006, the OS that came with the computer is several generations old. I have since bought an iMac which came with 10.6.2 reinstall disk but it says for iMac. Can I use the same discs to install on my MBP (which currently does run 10.6.x)?

Instal discs are supplied for use only on the machine they were supplied with. If you contact Apple, they'll be able to provide you with the correct disc.
