Recently on my PowerBook Safari just completely stopped working. It'll open but won't load any web pages. I've tried all the methods I've read and nothing. When this used to happen on my MacBook running 10.9 I'd just reset my DNS server to 8.8.8.8 but that doesn't seem to be working here either. What can I try to completely refresh Safari without reinstalling OS X?

Whenever I run into a situation such as this I use "Pacifist" to selectively reinstall the problem app from an image file such as the Leopard 10.5.8 combo.
