reinstall Snow Leopard without the DVD

Dear all: I would like to reinstall the OSX 10.6 to a MacBook that already have this system but I do not have the original DVD that I bought, I forget it in another country.
Is is possible making a sort of "bootable system DVD" from the files in the computer ?
