Reinstall Yosemite on a 3tb Fusion drive

I have an iMac with the 3tb Fusion drive that needs to be replaced. If I do a fresh install from a USB drive does it wipeout the entire drive or just the SSD portion? I need to make sure the entire drive does not have any of my confidential information before I take it in.

If you use Disk Utility to erase the Fusion volume from recovery, it will erase data on both.
