Is it possible to reinstall the iLife software that came with my computer without violating copyrights?

iLife

How did you re-install Leopard ? From the install disc or from a retail Leopard copy ? The retail copy does not have iLife it's only on the original disc from the computer install, I believe it's under optional installs.

You can use a program called Pacifist to install the iLife stuff from your original restore DVDs (if it's not under "optional installs").

I reinstalled from the DVD that shipped with my MBP... Its probably on the second disk isnt it...

Im going to see if I can track down my old time machine backup and get it off there, but if not I will try Pacifism.

Thanks for the help ;)

It's on Disc 1, under Optional Installs or Bundled Software, I can't remember what it's called.

You don't need to use Pacifist and you shouldn't use Time Machine because iLife files are scattered all over the system. Insert disk 1 (don't boot from it, just put it in) and run "Install Bundled Software Only". You will be able to choose which apps to install.
