When i had jaguar previously it had idvd installed, although i have no superdrive, but it came preinstalled nonetheless. Since i upgraded to panther idvd was not installed.

Did panther recognize that i had no superdrive thats why it didnt install it? Is there a way from installing it from the panther upgrade cds ?

If not can i use my old jaguar cds to install it from there? If so how do i go about doing that?

Thanks for the info..

Insert the Software DVD that came with your Mac, and run the "install applications and classic support" package and choose to install iDVD.

BTW, I simply backed up the iDVD application before installing, then copied it back to the application folder.
