Yesterday my iTunes required me to upgrade before synching my iPhone. After the upgrade my iphone wouldn't work - it would just continuously reboot. I restored it x 2 on this computer and then x 2 on my home mac. Same problem recurred. So I reset to factory settings.

I have lost my current contacts, notes, text messages, and various other useful issues. My iphone backed itself up before it died.

How can I restore selectively from a previous back up as I am concerned that if I try to restore again I will just reintroduce the same bug that led to the dead phone in the first place. How can I obtain my previous text messages, notes etc without using the restore button?
