I will probably be installing Tiger this coming weekend and was wondering something. When I install Tiger, how will I install iLife 04? If I do a simple upgrade, all apps should still be on the HD, right? But if I do a clean install and wipe the HD then install Tiger, how do I go about reinstalling iLife 04? Are the iLife 04 apps on the recovery CDs that came with my Mac?

Also, if I did do a clean install, what apps would I loose from my Mac (I have a PowerMac G5) that I can't install again?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks :)

I done a complete clean install of Tiger, including writing 0's to the HD. In order to get my iLife apps back, all I did was put in the Software Restore DVD (Disc 1) that came with my Mac and go to "Install Applications and Classic Support" and that let me install iDVD and Garageband. To get iPhoto and iMovie, I had to use an app called Pacifist (free, you can get it at Version Tracker) that lets you get the packages from the Software Restore DVD and install them. Very cool app.
