Hi,

In case I need/want to reinstall the mac OS on my MBP, will it erase or disable the windows XP partition/instalation that I currently have under bootcamp?

Will I have to reinstall bootcamp to access windows or will I have to reinstall both OSes from the ground up?

good question i don't know but that would be great if you didnt or had the option as it takes forever to load osx and then xp lol

As long as you don't erase your entire disk and only re-install OS X onto the same volume on your disk, you'll be fine.

As long as you don't re-partition the HDD and you only touch the HFS+ (Mac) partition, you're fine. You don't need to reinstall Boot Camp either, since you already have Windows setup.
