I'm saving all of my needed Docs, Pics, etc. on an external HDD so that I can do a reinstall of OS X.
I don't have much in my iTunes library (long story), so I don't necessarily care if that makes the transfer to the ext. HDD.
However, I want to make sure that when I reinstall iTunes and try to sync my phone, that all of my Contacts, icons/apps are there.
Is it as easy as going to Application Support>MobileSync and copy/pasting the last sync to the external HDD, then dropping that back into the (same, new) folder once the OS is installed?
Thanks,
Justin
