reinstalling programs without deleting?

In this case, I lost my wifi signal during instillation of logic 9

Is it worth deleting what it already installed or can I just restart(start over) installation without any problems?

In other words will it just overwrite the files it already wrote or will it duplicate taken up extra space?

Yes, it should work to simply reinstall.
