Any guesses when the release date for the iPhone 5s will be?

I'm excited! It'll be my first iPhone because T-Mobile held out for so long.

It will be released YESTERDAY...

The killer feature that will be revealed on Sept 10 will be a flux capacitor that makes time travel possible, and they will show it off by going back in time to August 25th and releasing it then, and thus everyone who intends to buy one will reach into their pockets and be shocked to discover that they already have! Once the timeline stabilizes, everyone will have memories of having owned the phone for 2 weeks already.

Last year it was announced on the 12th, pre orders on the 14th and release on the 21st.

This year the release is on the 20th, so working backwards, pre orders on the 13th and we already have an announcement date, the 10th :)

How long prior to the rumored 9/10 date would we expect to hear something from Apple? Cant remember if there are invites sent or not..

What do you mean guess? They have already revealed it as Sept. 10 and preorders and shipment is the same
Really? What universe have you been living in? Apple has not made an announcement in this universe and they have never shipped iPhones the same day they were announced.

Invites tend to go out about a week before any Apple press conference. And in general someone will post a copy of it the same day they get it.

they're waiting until there's 10,000 of these threads before releasing it so keep it up!

Release date has to be Sept 20 as Apple needs to get those iPhone sales into the quarter which ends on Sept 30
