Is there some type of schedule spelled out somewhere that lists the release of Apple computers and what the changes were?

For example, I bought a MacBook Air from Bestbuy only a couple months ago but it says early 2014. Today I saw someone speak of a mid 2014. Is there a late 2014? Are there any differences?

I'm just curious if this information is available somewhere?

There hasn't been a new MacBook Air released since April 29, 2014.

There's an app on the App Store called Mactracker which has a section for every MacBook Air release. The MacRumors Buyer's Guide also details MacBook Air releases.

So my "Early 2014" is the newest release and the person who said he had a "Mid 2014" was mistaken?

Yes. Happens when they release something in April only. Mid-20xx is usually what's released at the WWDC in June. There is only one 2014 MBA, so you can't go wrong.

This article suggests a rumour that a refresh is coming at the end of Feb.

It's very unlikely that Apple would release a minor spec-bump of the MBA when the retina is so close to being ready. I really don't trust that rumor.

It could be the other rumors that say that Apple will keep the 13" model non-retina alongside the retina for now like they have done on other lines to keep the price lower.
