I've been using a USB-C to displayport cable for a while now, and it's way I've been able to reliably use a display without needing to restart the computer after sleep, etc. I have a Caldigit TS3 and just tried connecting a 20ft active displayport cable from that to my display, and it didn't work at all. Which is very strange, considering it's an 8k supported cable, and supposedly does 4k @ 144Hz (my monitor is set at 3360x1890 @ 60Hz).

What reliable way can I get a 20ft display connection??? It doesn't seem USB-C lengths are supported at that length. Displayport doesn't work. Could it be the Caldigit causing the issue or should I try HDMI?
