Reliable jailbrake & unlock for 3GS?

Can anyone reco a good tool to jailbrake and unlock the 3GS that would allow me to get the most recent ios?? I know bout redsn0w and pwanage, but perhaps there is something better?

I guess u dunno what gevey is . ITs unlocking utilty for iPhone 4.. Jailbreaking and gevey are diff things. Also gevey doesn't update iOS .

how about saying what firmware and baseband your on

Jailbreaking doesnot give u iOS .
It provides you root access.

Update to 4.3.3 from iTunes
Use redsn0w to jailbreak.

you wont be able to software unlock that baseband

for the firware i would update to 4.3.3 and use redSnOw
