Hi, all. I've got a USB3 hub that routinely likes to disconnect when I try to pass data through it, either via a USB3 external hard drive or a USB3 flash disk. I've used several drives and tested both ports on my mac, and it's always the same issue.

Does anyone know of a solid, reliable hub that isn't as likely to disconnect on a retina macbook pro?

I am currently using the USRobotics USB 3.0 Super Speed Hub. It is a 4 port powered hub. The only thing I've noticed is that my twin G-Drive 1TB 7200rpm mini's along with a OWC Envoy 256GB SSD must pull more power than the hub can sustain. When I have all three chugging along copying files, they tend to be proned to errors. I only have two connected at any one time and that seems to work well. Not ideal, but a minor irritation to achieve my goal.
When I have time, maybe I'll do some research to see if the hub may be defective.
