Thanks for posting this! I always get a kick to see the IE icon in the Mac OS X dock! The machine itself looks like it's still in pretty good shape too.

Yeah, seems to be only one of a few Titanium PowerBooks that never lost their paint or broke the hinges...

The problem with this one is that it wont read DVDs but thats about it :D

IE... the horror!

Hehe, even better than that I was interested to find a couple of years ago (late 2011) when trying out 10.0 that Apple was still hosting a beta version of IE for 10.0 on their Software Update servers (alas they turned off the servers for pre-Tiger versions relatively recently).

That's crazy and awesome! I love looking through the support downloads all the time just searching for stuff and I try to download as much as possible so that I will at least have it in case it's no longer hosted.

I just recently downloaded:
1.) all the PowerMac G5 stuff available
2.) all the iBook G4 stuff that they had available
3.) all the combo updates for Mac OS X 10.4-10.8. I also have the install .dmg for 10.4-10.7. So when I get an Intel machine again, I'll be able to do all of that mostly myself and then just deal with getting the Java/security updates.

I downloaded a bunch of other stuff as well, but I'm not going to completely cause you to pass out from sheer boredom.

My TiBook/400 broke AROUND the hinges! The hinges ended up being the ONLY solid thing about that Mac!
