Guys,

I know this is real easy, but I need help. I have searched so don't flame me or you can flame me, either way. :)

I want to reload my OSX while maintaining my data. Anyone have an idea of how to do this?

Thanks

archive & install

You mean archive the data off of the computer and then reinstall?

I was at the Mac Store last week and the guy showed me a way to do it w/o having to backup the data. I was hoping to remember but it hasnt come back to me.

Thanks

No, if you insert the OSX disc, one of the reinstall options is called "archive & install", this will replace your system without removing your applications and data.
