Relocate Apps folder to external hard drive?

I have all my iTunes media (music, movies, podcast, etc) on an external drive, but the Mobile Applications folder remains on the main drive. What steps do I take to move it over to the external drive? Thank you!

No one? I am asking because I have a 32gb SSD for the OS and it's running out of space.
