I set the Globe key on my M3 MBP to "Do Nothing" since I often mishit it and got the Emoji&Symbol picker when I didn't want it.
Now, I'm exploring keyboard remappings to bring it up when I do want it. Ctrl+Cmd+Spacebar and Globe+E brings it up under most (but not all) circumstances. I'd like to see if other combinations fit better under my fingers.
I think the two methods above ought to be mapped in System Settings>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts but I can't find either mapping in the selectable items and sub items.
I tried to add it under App Shortcuts>All Applications>+>Application
Clicking the All Applications selector shows just about everything but Emoji&Symbols. There is an "Other" option at the end of that dropdown but I don't know where the Emoji&Symbols aka Character Viewer app is located. The search function in the Other dialog doesn't find them, either.
I'd appreciate any pointers.
