The one thing that still really bugs me about my UK MacBook is that it doesn't have a standard UK keyboard - trying to code when all of the symbols are in unfamiliar places is a nightmare. I've pulled a 'British - Windows' keyboard layout out of a Logitech download which is perfect except that the key to the left of [Z] is switched with the key to the left of [1]. Doesn anybody know of any program that can edit a .rsrc file (what the Logitech keyboard layout is) so that I can switch these two keys around (I've already tried emacs)? Or any other (free) software that will allow me to make my own custom keyboard layout?

Edit: found the problem, I was using an 'old' British layout rather than the 'new' British layout... I should've read the instructions more carefully the first time round! Now all I have to do is figure out how I'm going to relabel the keys...
