Remapping keys and warranties

Does anyone know if remapping the right hand option key to an enter key would void my warranty? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.

Also, could anyone instruct me on a simple way to do that?

It shouldn't void the hardware warranty as it's most likely achievable through software (therefore, if any issues arise you'd simply reverse the change or reinstall the operating system).

I haven't remapped keys on a Mac, but the best thing I could recommend is looking through Google or MacUpdate for instructions or a third party to remap your keyboard in Mac OS X.

Nope it's a reversible software modification so it will not void your warranty.

http://doublecommand.sourceforge.net/ is most likely the easiest solution but you can also manually change it with a custom kext.
