Remapping old MBP f keys

I use the new thin aluminum keyboard with my MBP when I am using it on my desk. However, when I take my MBp on the go, I am used to the keys on the external keyboard. Is there any way that I can change the settings on my MBp keyboard to have the functions of the newer keyboards?

If so, how?
