You guys remember when we were going to get Push in September? Yea? Me too... Those were the days.

5 Months ago I was hoping I'd have my Push... When I bought my phone, back in July, I was REALLY planning on getting Push when I was told it'd be comming. What's the deal with this "Cloud"?

I don't even hear ANYONE talking about it anymore. Apple hasn't said anything since October about it (that I've heard) and people seem to have forgotten. Not me. I chose not to get SMS and was hoping to get Push notification for my AIM so I could use that instead. Now I'm stuck with Ymail! Buggy as crap.

I want my Push.

I'll search for a thread, but in case you get this sooner:

Any reasons why they'd be correlated?

Because Apple realized Push was a piss poor idea so they're delaying it as long as possible, and when they release it it won't seem so late, like they planned it to go with Snow Leopard. There's no way that they're going to keep their servers up. MobileMe, anyone?

The day will come when Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger will create apps on the app store and we can freely receive push notifications and messages. One day, people, one day.

I see. Yea, that makes sense. So they can kinda claim they planned it that way the whole time.
