Reminder App

I've been trying to use the Reminder App, but am having some issues. There is no notification when I set the reminder date and time. In notifications I have it setup to set as alert even in lock screen. Am I missing something? I missed two reminders in the last day because it never alerted me...
 
I don't use Apple's reminder app. While I hope you can figure out your problem, if you can't, I can recommend ToDo by Appigo. Great app which should meet all of your needs.
