Does anyone else have this bug?
When I create a reminder on one of my iOS devices (they have the latest iOS version installed), and set a date, that date won't appear as a set date in Reminders on my Mac (which is running on High Sierre), but instead, it will appear as an "appointment/meeting/date" (I have my Mac set in German, where it's called "Termin", so I don't know the exact word used in the English version of Mac OS).
You can see it in this screenshot:
Basically I have set a date for that reminder on my iPad, but you can see that the date option in Reminders on my Macs ("Tagesabhängig") isn't checked.
Instead there's that field "Termin" ("appointment, meeting, date") and it makes it extremely annoying to change, or - even worse - to remove the date. I often have to do that, because I sometimes don't manage to keep the deadline. So I'm regularly postponing many things.
I can't even remove that "Termin". I can only change the date. But sometimes I need to remove any date at all because more important things arrive. And also, these things don't behave like reminders that actually have a date set. So they don't really appear where they should, etc.
Has anyone had this issue, and has anyone found a fix for it? It's always when a reminder is created on an iOS device and I then open it on my Mac.
I think it may have something to do with the fact I'm still on High Sierra. The problem is, I can't update my Mac anymore…
Thanks peeps!
