Is there anyway to have iOS push only reminders to my phone?
I've tried and the only way right now is to either stop syncing entirely what i don't want or keeping everything synced which seems to use more power on standby.

Are you talking iCloud here?

Just go into Settings>iCloud and turn off what you don't want iCloud to sync to your phone.

The way I understand it though is that the same data connection is used for 20 things as it is for one. Toggling things off just stops some of the traffic, but that may not actually do anything if there wasn't much traffic to begin with.
