So, I open the Reminders app, fill in the circle on something I've completed and go back to the home screen.
I realized, upon re-entering the app again later, that the task I had completed was still sitting there with the circle filled in.
The only way to get it to clear is to toggle 'hide/show completed' or close out the app entirely.
I don't think this is how it functioned on iOS 6 - when if you left the app and came back, the tasks you marked completed would've been gone.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, who knows..but, I find it slightly obnoxious that they don't clear out as they had in the past. Doubt they intended for it to function that way.
