Reminders have stopped syncing

Anyone else have Reminders stock syncing between iOS 16.0.3 and macOS 12.6?

Syncing has been buggy for a while. I turned them off on my MacBook a few months ago.

Using a 3rd party calendar app? Mine are working but my copy of Fantastical has been acting up: shows deleted Reminders while Apple's app is showing correct.

Reminders no longer sync between my iphone and iPad since the phone got updated to iOS 16. But then again it’s a fairly regular occurrence with each iOS update. Apple really needs to hire some 3rd party devs to teach them how to properly implement CalDAV client-server sync

I don’t understand why Apple can’t fix this problem since it seems to randomly happen in many of their apps such as reminders, notes, messages, photo. etc. and to many users.The fix that always seems to be suggested is to sign out/in of your apple account or turn off/onsyncing in the effected app. Neither is a good experience. A very old technology like imap seems to have reliably addressed syncing with email, why can’t Apple do the same?
