Reminders is not showing up on Today's pull down menu

And it's not showing up on my MBP. Anyone knows how to turn the feature on so it will show?
I went in and tapped edit, put the option to have the reminders be in the today bar on my phone and MBP but am unsure why it's not showing up.

It only shows reminders scheduled for a specific time on that day.
