reminders: is there a gmail equivalent? how will syncing happen?

hi. there seems to be options in the exchange that will allow google to sync with reminders. you can even make a list for gmail in the reminders app (but it disappears and deletes itself).

will we be able to sync with some sort of google task list? i don't have a mac so i can't sync with the todo list in OSX.
