Reminders not showing in notification centre

i have MacOS 10.12.1 installed and have Outlook for my mail using Exchange, my reminders are using iCloud.

I can view my reminders when I bring up the reminder app on my iPhone and the Mac. Under the notification centre under today it doesn’t show any reminders.

I brought up activity centre, killed the notification service, which didn’t help.

Anyone know how to fix this?
