Reminders notifications on the Lock Screen disappear on their own.

Am I just doing something wrong? My Reminders notifications since at least iOS 16 disappear on their own without me swiping them away or marking them complete. The entire purpose of them is to REMIND ME, so if they go away from the Lock Screen without my intervention I FORGET about them. This happens with other app's notifications on the Lock Screen as well (like Messages). Am I using it wrong? How do I keep notifications on the Lock Screen until I dismiss them?
