I rely on reminders and the reminders widget daily. Since iOS 8 the widget is not working properly. It displays my reminders, then when I complete them all for the day, the widget disappears from the notification center. Even if I manually remove it and re-add it, it doesn't show up. I have to restart the phone before it will show again. This is true even if I open and close the reminders app, etc. Anyone else having this problem? Any fixes?

Please tell any Apple developers you may know. BTW, yes, I have already submitted this as a bug report on the Apple website.

I think it's a weird bug, if I add too many widgets, it disappears. I was able to add it back by adding a new reminder with a time and date, then delete it.

Hmm...I'll try it. Thanks, it's super annoying though, especially for a core widget that I have relied on since its inception.

BTW, does anyone else notice that it won't show all the reminders for the day if you have too many, now it says "and five more," I liked it better when it showed all of them.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. If you have just 4 or 5 reminders due they'll all show up on the reminders screen but the moment you have more than that it'll show "And # more reminders." I also preferred when they showed more than just a couple. Does anyone know if there's a settings option somewhere that changes this?

…and when you tap the "and five more" part, it takes you to your entire list of reminders, not just the rest of them for that day. This means instead of seeing the 10 I care about, I see the 30 that are far in the future…

Workaround: The Agenda+ app NF widget can be configured to just show reminders.

Paid app though, but I actually prefer it to the default Reminders widget.

Yeah, I've been looking for another reminders app that can show iCloud reminders and which has a widget. So far only found paid ones like Agenda+ and Calendar 5 that would do it.

Alternatively there are various free ones like Wunderlist for example which have a widget, but they don't integrate with iCloud reminders.
